Now that would be a signing. Reports that NRL clubs are struggling to make Farah an offer that will tempt Wests in to releasing him (with Wests being on the hook for the difference between his new salary and his A$950,000 a year contract at Wests). The report I read stated that clubs are looking at a A$100,000 base offer with Wests wanting a club to at least cover A$300,000 a season. Salary wise, that would put him within range I would imagine, but it would still be a very difficult deal to pull off, although the report does say that the English Super League is a longer term option for him, and we do have the Ellis connection, so who knows?

Sounds like he's doing another year at Wests so can play Origin with then 2 years in the UK. Won't be short of suitors.
