IIRC it's approx £8tn which averages out to around £120k per person or £280k per household.
Though of course a large amount of this is notional as, again IIRC, there's only approx £2tn of "money". The rest is in assets such as housing, buildings, land, cars, machinery etc.

And it's impossible to answer the question.
Well, somebody had a stab at it.

Cheers for that .
I'm a little surprised at that, what with the richest 1% owning as much as the poorest 55%.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in. They're eating the cats! They're eating the pets!

To be fair Mugwump is right really in that it's virtually impossible to assess the wealth of the entire nation as things like houses etc that aren't "money", their value is based on it being sold in the current situation. If everybody were selling their houses in order to distribute it across the population then the value ascribed to them (or anything else) would plummet.
It still doesn't get away from the obvious point though that the money, wealth and opportunity in this country could be distributed a lot more fairly.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

The mere act of measuring money or wealth changes it. Which is why it's impossible to get any kind of reliable accounting.
Try determining an accurate figure on the actual amount of physical gold held by a particular nation and you'll see money appear and disappear before your very eyes. I imagine the number of bodies fished out of the river would rise appreciably, too.
