What I saw of Hall he seemed to have no interest and certainly no guts for the fight. However someone indicated he was injured and had surgery. If that's the case it could explain the lack of effort. I think last season gave an indication of the type of players who can knuckle under and provide effort. Unfortunately I don't at the moment see that from Hall. He will probably get a chance to change my view and I hope he does.
I was surprised at his apparent lack of interest - he's always been a player I've admired and never looked like a quitter; so if there were outside factors at play, he gets a chance to put that behind him next season.
