Clearly you never watched Anakin as a junior, because anyone who did will tell you that he had a decent passing game and was not the battering ram people want him to be - so right back at you

There I don't agree with you vasty saw Chris a lot as a junior, would have made a number 9 if he could have passed the ball he never could unfortunately

One from left field, could Anakin play at Centre? I’m aware he never has but if he’s adaptable and embraces it he’s not slow and he could punch holes on the flanks - also a good tackler - just a thought and probably not a good one.
Johnstone will be a centre eventually IMO but he’s to easily knocked about at the moment.
Vasty you've got to be on the wind up there with Annakin. Has Belly stolen your password?

Right back at me?! Haha. How old are you?!
Oh I watched Chris Annakin alright, many times as a junior. And all seeing one, I align myself to your infinite knowlege that he's nothing like the same style of player we both watched back then. That said, and correct me if I'm wrong won't you, but I struggle to remember him throwing a pass since then. But if that's what we're looking for from our centres, I'm all for it...

OK I'll deal with you first. All things are relative and I was clearly being a bit experimental - as I'm about to point out to popstart I thought I'd made that obvious.
I'm not for one second suggesting Anakin can slip a ball out like Gene Miles - however when you compare him to Lyne or Arundel it doesn't look quite so daft. It's just a suggestion that's all.
Do you recall Roger Kenworthy? Came to us as an out and out winger, not a position renowned for players with a passing game. Kelly put him at scrum half and IMHO was one of the best we have had.
You never know til you try - obviously in a friendly not a real game. That's assuming Anakin was even up for it.
