As said by others elsewhere now got 27 players in the squad so probably not many more on their way.

Can't see a specialist full back being signed ahead of a quality centre or half back. Gibson would be first choice but with Arundel really? We were very weak in the centres and played Bill Tupou there as a result. No creativity for the wingers ensued. Lynne is a winger nothing more and definitely is not a second row in the making, he's not big enough and does not have the skill set IMHO.

It'd be great if Ben Pomeroy and Scott Dureau were signed but probably more likely that Finn is seen as Tim Smith's replacement and Godinet will sign for another year as back up for 6/7/9 plus we make do with the 'jack of all trades master of none' utility backs in the present squad to fill the centre weakness since Colis has left.

Glad Smith is the coach and not you is all I can say regarding the above.

If you read the thread its others that suggest Lynne as a possible second row not me. As for specialist full back I may well be wrong but ironically like you thought we were OK there.

Unlike you I think we need strike out wide as weak in the centres positions. Lynne was ineffective, Morris is untried at SL, Gibson ok. 'Big Joe' Arundel is working on his game and fitness according to BS so not the finished article possibly. Nobody has really replaced Collis in my opinion although I may be misguided as you believe.

If the coach brings in a top class full back, centre and half back then great but this is Trinity so unlikely due to the finance required (hope I'm wrong).

Think Moore would be a decent signing if happening.

I would assume most people read what I put and think fair point and a bit of fun but nothing more. My problem is when posters start to believe their own hype, got the feeling you were doing that but if you weren't fair enough.
