Quote theearthisflat="theearthisflat"You are one thick programmed Borg. Can you not READ Properly. I wasn't insinuating Jetstream. I was explaining about the supposed 1000 mph globular spin you freak. If the globe was spinning at east to west, your supposed flight time would alter flying with and against the so called Earth's spin '"
Let's do an experiment. Do a standing jump, as high as you can.
Say you were in the air for 0.5 seconds. Using your logic, you'd 'travel' around 220m as you're moving with the globular spin and smash into one of your living room walls.
However, the atmosphere, rather than just the Earth's ground is moving too. Speed is relative. So a person looking up at a plane from the ground sees it travelling say 500mph, but a person walking up the aisle of the plane, is walking at a speed of 3mph relative to the plane, and therefore 503mph relative to the man on the ground for that short time. Relative to a stationary object outside of the Earth's atmosphere, the plane would be travelling at 1,500mph and the person walking at 1,503mph.
