Should that a priority above a hooker or a winger though?
None of us can be certain of course, but with us having Michaels, Naughton, Talanoa and Lancaster in our squad as wingers, I'd expect Fonua to be earmarked as a centre.
Logan in the other centre position, and I'm pretty happy with that.

Players voting on signing players, what absolute nonsense, oh but it's a one off because of the circumstances, give your heads a shake ffs! It's so easy to create rumours and they become 'facts', seems most fans here can't wait to lap it up.
Nobody is saying any of the rumours are facts from what I can see. People are just addressing their potential validity and what it might mean. Doesn't necessarily mean people believe them to be true.
The only facts that are known are that we've sold Westerman and we've not signed Carney. Now we may sign him, we may sign someone else, we may sign nobody. Who knows. I don't. And if anyone else does can they tell me the numbers for the next EuroMillions draw please?

If Fonua or Logan are injured or lose form and dropped what then? back to yeaman or juggling around moving Talanoa or Michaels from the wing. Definately centre is the priority

I don't agree it is. We have three centres as well as Tuimavave who can cover.

The stats say we certainly knew our way up the field with the ball: - We were second for meters made - Second for tackle busts - Third for clean breaks - Third for meters per carry - Fourth for offloads
Getting into the oppo's 30m wasn't a problem, but we were terrible when we were there. Whilst it wasn't all due to Houghton, it starts with him at hooker. Sneyd was pretty disappointing and Pryce unfit for most of it too.
Kicking was generally pi$$ poor. Conversions, no 40-20s all year, ineffective attacking kicks etc.

Good post. Re the halves for me I'd like someone who does the game management basics well to complement Sneyd's individualism. On the last point I've often thought over the years that we under-utilise Houghton's kicking game.

Fonua is down as a winger. I asked 1 of our coaching team the other day. I've been curious. Didn't pick his brains/do his head in to much but asked that. So given that I'd expect. Also in the convo praising abdull but mentioned the player doesn't wanna play 13 wants the 6. They don't want him to play 13. And they feel his game isn't suited or currently able to play middle. So sounds to me carlos will play centre. I'd imagine he'll challenge for fullback too if Shaul doesn't perform
Shaul Fonua Carlos Logan Binman/michaels/lancaster Maybe another back in to change that.

I've said this for ages. Seldom takes a wrong kick option or poorly executes it.
