I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise, based on the close scoring games from last season, that I believe next season, we'll have the squad to edge out the oposition. Plus the stupid games we lost such as Wakey away

Possibly. I think with the new system still being new and only having one season to benchmark against, it's still hard to say if there's a pattern in how the Super8's finish.
The top four this year were very close. Next season we might have two clubs breakaway, with 3rd-6th very close, we don't know.

In reality you should be 4/5th as you have a better squad I'd say than Castleford, Warrington and Catalans and on par with Huddersfield and they all finished above you last season so if you play to your potential there's no reason why it shouldn't be achieved

See no reason why you shouldn't finish above some of Cas, Catas, Wire and Hudds - though I think finishing above all of them is less likely. Not impossible though.
