Maitua is an 80 minute second-rower, he'll be in there from the off I would imagine with Hansen and Paterson. I wouldn't be surprised if Hock is shifted into a permanent prop, with MoiMoi, Hopkins and Emmitt.

Just seen a rumour on http://www.loverugbyleague.com/news_199 ... sip-8.html That Cas are after Rangi Chase again.
sorry if this is old news as at the moment I don't have time to get on here too often.
cheers John

Just gossip..The same as Mrs Koukash buying a slice of Leigh and Sam Barlow off too Salford.

Makes for a good read, but carries no substance.

The Salary Cap getting increased at today's meeting? Is that what is happening?

Isn't the meeting today just between the championship clubs? Do we have the 'power' to increase the Salary Cap? If the Championship clubs today all decide they agree with Leigh (Unlikely, I know!) and want the Cap raised to SL level would the RFL have any obligation to implement that? Or would it still require a vote from all clubs, no doubt with the SL clubs vote counting as double as usual! If there was a genuine vote today to maybe increase the Salary Cap I would have expected it to have received a lot more attention than it has!

I think today will give us an idea of the level of support we can expect from other clubs as we try to put pressure on the RFL to level up the playing field and increase the genuine possibility of P+R. Or can we actually expect some concrete outcome from today's meeting? What do we know about it, who is attending, will somebody from the RFL be in attendance? What is on the agenda? I haven't seen much proper detail on it to be honest.

Not sure on the meeting, only that DB stated he had asked for it to be tabled at a meeting.

I believe they do have an obligation, otherwise it contradicts their own beliefs and core principles. RFL-Rugby League Strategic Plan 2015-2021.

You are right Nozzy ,one topic on the meetings agenda is to vote on if the Championship Clubs want qthe SC discussion brought up, Derek mustn't be worried though, apparently he is away on holiday at the moment.

You got it mixed up, Sam Barlow was buying a slice of cake.
