As I said, telling us it's £XXXX averts away from the truth not just of the fee but the situation as a whole. i clearly said this before, If you and others want to beleive the £150k fee is accurate that's up to you, i don't. A press release, what's said by X, Y and z won't convince me.
oh dear.

I'm not sure why it's so difficult to believe. Player had a year left on his contract and wasn't intending to stay beyond that, club take opportunity to get a fee for a player that'll leave for free in a year in a position we're well stocked in. If you don't believe that's the truth, offer us another version - what do you think really happened?

Unless it's a winger, of course. I'd imagine with Logan, Fonua, Yeaman and Tuimavave able to play centre, we'd be looking at another winger, which is a position we're pretty weak in as it stands.

TBH, I'm just glad AP has taken over the mantle of S.L's selling club. Anyway shouldn't you be following AP's on his door knocking rounds and bullying a few more to buy passes. Let them follow your own example......

You still moaning about bullying? Thought you'd laid that to rest with your previous incarnation(s) 32 becomes 34, then. Oh dear..

Don't care how good he is. It would be stupid getting rid of a player with alleged poor professionalism and replacing them with....whatever you want to class Carney as.
The words of fools mean nothing to one who resides in the truth.
£290,000ish for two player over which there have been big question marks concerning their integrity and off field behaviour is in itself good business and probabaly in the long term a bonus in the camp.
I think we will definitely miss Lineham but Westerman won't be missed at all, for all the reasons outlined above, he's had a pretty ineffective season and hadn't even started contract talks when he announced that he wanted away and that meant that it was very, very likely that he would be off anyway come 2017; with no recompense for us at all.
Leeds saw the light and refused to pay up but Warrington were more naive and to get £150,000 for Joe is without doubt the 'killing' of the season so far and great business for the Club, but for the fans the acid test of Pearson's situation and ambition is what he does next.
Will those two come back to bite us? For me Lineham definitely will he'll score a few in the corner and no mistake but I doubt very much Westerman will. If we bring a top quality outside back in then for me we will be in a better position, balance wise, than we were before Westy went! No new signing and we are a side selling to survive, which sometimes has to happen, but invariably points to a team in decline. However with what is coming in already next year using Westermans cap space to bring a strike winger in would I think show a team jettisoning the problem areas and addressing the weaknesses. I think a lot of fans will be watching Adams next move very closely as Motu Tony said this morning, we now have a bit of cap space available but what will we do with it.....if anything?
