disappointed to see westerman go, but its too good a deal to turn down, could easily have been another briscoe scenario, he will be under more pressure at warrington to deliver as like fc fans, their fans demand success due to their cashed up owner
imo i think its a move sideways as warrington are similar to us atm in rebuilding
just hoping the announcement of a 'high quality' back isnt a major let down
Don't shoot the messenger but it's being reported by a couple of posters on the HKR board that you have made Kris Welham an offer to sign. It was earlier said he was considering a move to Salford so I presume considering locations Hull FC would be his preferred destination providing the offer is similar to theirs. Bradford apparently were also interested but staying in Super League was obviously his preference.
Welham, high profile player that's been on our radar for a while?? Sincerely hope not. Lose lineham (potential international) and Westerman (international player) to sign a turnstile. Oh dear.
If the high calibre back we are highlighting is true then it surely needs to be a non quota player and the only ones I can see who would be a available or that we have been linked with in the past are:

Charnley Makinson BJB Sarginson
Unrealistic on all 4 I would say
Forgot about him, he has been on the radar for a couple of years now.

BJB isn't as unlikely as you think. Salford have made an offer to Justin Carney, but before Cas release him they want an ideal replacement lined up. Salford offered them BJB, but sounds like they're chasing Daniel Vidot instead.
From an outsider looking in, the Westerman deal was a no brainer. Always seemed like one of those players who has failed to achieve his potential, unsure where the £150k valuation comes from but great news for Hull.
Salford Red Devils RLFC.
