He was a "disruption in the changing room and was not pulling his weight and we would never see him in black and white again" those were the exact words from a usually very reliable source. Time will tell, but I believe it to be true.
If that was the case we would not be looking for a fee
£150k fee and now chasing a high profile back. Turning out pretty well I'd say.
Yes I agree. Feel a bit sorry for you though. You've gone into bat against all and sundry defending AP's line that the club's hanging by a thread financially and now he comes out with this statement, pulling the rug from under you and making you look a fool.
Maybe he popped down to the kitchen for a choccy digestive and found 500k he forgot he'd stashed in the biscuit tin.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at today's HDM article.
From its misleading headline, to it's fabricated narrative, to its classic switch of emphasis.
This deal was completed in the middle part of last week. Once you know this inconvenient fact, it's hard not to view the HDM article as pure propaganda.
The motive? To divert attention from AP and Motu's vehement recent denials that Joe was going to be sold.
I know things can change. And if the club really were to reinvest this "unexpected" (according to them) transfer windfall and salary cap space on a player of equivalent market value - let's say Josh Charnley - then, fair play.
But, If they don't, it smacks of the club withholding it's true hand from fans in a calculated ploy to upsell memberships on a "no squad is stronger" ticket.
