Is it simply because he wants a few more desperate hours of being able to flog memberships on a "no squad is stronger" ticket whilst flicking V's with the fans?
Or does he need more time to work out how he is going to explain this one away, given the vehemence of his and Motu's recent denials and rebuttals?
Perhaps he will announce the signing of Tom Biggs once again to cushion the blow?
How and when he breaks the news will not alter the (ever growing) perception that Adam Pearson says one thing in public, yet does another in private!
I very much doubt he is trying to "flick the V's" to the fans. He more than anyone has a financial vested interest in the club. He stands to lose out far more if things do not work out.
As has been pointed out, the stead fast denials which are publicly stated are a way of trying to ramp up the price.
Its a little like a Boards vote of confidence in a manager. How often has that ended in the manager being removed from office?
On the assumption he his going who does everybody think will replace him?
Washbrook.
Thompson.
Abdull.
Extra Prop.
As someone has already mentioned I think we were bit hasty giving Michaels a one year deal. In hindsight we could have combined his salary and Westerman's and sign a quality NRL back and still have Westermans transfer fee(hopefully) to bank.

Could be Minichiello as well... I reckon Radford will look for a player with high defensive attributes to block up the middle.
shame to see him go but that's sport it happens at most clubs,in fairness to pearson imo we have signed top class players this year, you only have to look elseware like rovers to see that,

We just sold him
"Well he was s--t anyway, glad he's gone tbh"
He was good last year (In an appalling side) and just about deserved his England spot, but overall in his time at Hull, he has been disappointing, two average season and two better ones. He certainly hasn't been outstanding, he doesn't score trys or sets them up, rarely makes a break either, he works hard and has good defence, but in his time as Hull, that's about it, I've seen more from Abdul (Who isn't ready to play LF full time) last season that I saw from Westerman last year.
So do we keep him for another year, hoping he will finally come good after 4 years and then let him go for free or do we sell him for a large fee and let players play LF who will do a more effective job for the club.
