My brother bought me a team photo from this season taken on a match day. This was my 2nd full season watching the Wire and memories of the likes of Nicko, JB, Shirley Hesford even Glen Knight and Alan Gwilliam were on there (strangely Parry G wasn't must have been one of the few times he was injured) but there was a Peter Connell and for the life of me I can't remember him. Anyone got any personal memories of seeing him play?

Can't remember much about him apart from the fact that he was an Auusie and I believe he was the third player in 3 seasons we took in the Aussie off season from the Queensland RL. The other two had been Dave Wright and John Grant. I'll check the Club stats, but I don't think he played much.

Yep, had his limitations as a full back but the 2 points were secure!
