I honestly believe that both our halves were playing whilst injured. Nothing unusual about that, as players from all clubs would have been suffering from injury at that stage of the season, but it couldn't have helped our cause when the going got tough. Playing through injury seems easier when you are on a winning streak, but when things start going wrong, it seems to be a different matter!
As for not getting 'bashed about', that happens in all games, irrespective of the opposition. Ask the players what it's like, playing against Dewsbury for example!
