Apparently being announced on Fri. Really hoping for Manchester but i suspect it will be Newcastle again.
Watched the 2014 game tonight and was reminded of the Great atmosphere and day out it was. Didn't feel it as much in Newcastle.

That wouldn't have anything to do with Warrington running riot in 2014 and being outplayed in 2015 would it? Always more enjoyable when your side is handing out and ass whupping to one of it's former tormentors.

No i was thinking more about the stadium itself and the fact we get more fans closer to home creating a better atmosphere. Wire fans enjoy a great atmosphere and sing song even when on the losing side. Unlike some others.

Apart from a lucky bounce of the ball for the McCarthy-Scarsbrook try, I think the teams were pretty even that day.

Former being the key word!

He will deserve it if he contributes to a winning performance.

Clearly he has never done this in the past and thus has never deserved to be in a final, i suspect that the same scenario will occur tomorrow.

I suspect that it will be Newcastle, and quite rightly too. Had you been there on day one you would have been part of a far larger crowd and in a fantastic atmosphere. Having it in Newcastle also gave a bit of a boost to local RL, with Newcastle Thunder getting over 2,500 at their game on the Friday night.

This, i was at the front of the second part of the stand above the walkway, it was nowhere near as good as it has been at the etihad, where we've all been on the same level together, at newcastle we felt seperated out from the other wire fans, shows the difference in traditional four stands as opposed to bowls.

I don't think I knew a single Wire who was confident of a victory in 2014 and we were still creating noise and atmosphere from when the gates opened. There was definitely a bigger sense of doom and gloom this year, but the lack of atmosphere was largely due to the stadium.

Come on Wire, come on Wire, come on Wire, Come on...

WidnesJohn wrote:With us being the better side these days, we are licking our lips at inflicting more misery on Wire in the coming derby. I expect a fairly straight forward win.
Wire 44 - 6 Widnes
Widnes Score Time: 74 Minutes 9 Seconds

Well at least we know we'll be playing Saints again :SLEEPY:

When will we get Wigan or Leeds?
