I have been told another Yorkie club is interested in Ridy and it ain't Wakefield. Chase and Brierley is potentially a frightening combination. As others have stated, that 4 th pivot with the hooker is still needed. Martin carries a bit of clobber now, but can we risk him defensively to play at 13? Along with lack of pace, they are the 2 main concerns. But he is more skilled at kicking and passing than the others combined! It's going to be interesting because he isn't going to play off the bench, that's for sure!

Ste ,I've listened to Derek's interview a couple of times now, he DID say there are ways to fit them under the Salary Cap ,but also said he didn't want to go down that avenue,I have my own theories on how they can be accommodated that's why I'm a bit worried, obviously you are privy to better info than me so I hope I'm worrying over nothing. I still have nightmares over the days of the Blackpool Mafia now that was a Circus,I remember David Stephenson signing ,I'm sweating now thinking about that.
Don't play players out of position, you either in or your out! looks like chase will be first choice, then its between ryan and ridy! Hopefully Bob stays if not we need to replace him
Would love Ridyard at Fax, it is clear he makes Leigh tick and imo although Brierley is the star attraction Ridyard is a much better overall player. I would imagine it would be Bradford after him though as they need a half back and Ridyard and Gaskell probably would be the best half back pairing the championship has seen.

What was the best half back pairing in the championship you have seen this season? Surely Rangi with Ryan would change your opinion on "has seen"...

Could be - however, we are now down to two half backs with Reynolds' loan move to Dewsbury. So maybe the signing is still on, and we apparently now have Goulden and Aspinwall confirmed as departures, from the Awards Evening.

Hard to say because the top half back pairings have not performed well against us this season. I do not think Rangi and Brierley would complement each other.
