Can't see it. Riddy has another year on his contract, maybe more. Leigh lad, Leigh fan and the key man in our attack. Think it would take something a bit more appealing than some interest from Wakey for Martyn to leave. Super League yes but also will have to travel, not guaranteed a 1st team spot and Wakey will probably be whipping boys again before ending up back in the middle 8's with us.

FWIW, I think we should not chase the CC at all until SL is a reality, blood the young uns & fringe players, use it for game time for some lads & to try new combinations.
While it has been great to go to Wire etc with 4000+ like minded nutters, I now view it as a hinderence, one where we could pick up devastating injuries, so I feel we should give the CC a body swerve & keep our squad as fit as possible for the main cause.

I think Reynolds to the Rams is a sweetener for Mark Sawyer, to acquire support for the SC increase. DB did say he could fit them in,by going down the lines of loaning out ect,but didn't want to go that way.

In his interview Derek did say he couldn't fit everyone in under the cap as he'd like to so I wouldn't expect any announcement till after the meeting with the Championship clubs he mentioned later in the month. He did say he could fit everyone in playing with the loopholes so I still expect he's coming, just his contract will depend on what goes on at the meeting.

Question is will Ryan? Riddy is more of an organiser the Ryan or Rangi who are more try scorers. Coupled with that Ridy is a Leigh lad who was given a second chance at professional rugby by Leigh, Ryan is a very promising much talked about young player who's made no secrets of his SL ambitions & Rangi is an international player. Imagine it'll be Ryan Rangi coming could most upset.
