Downloaded RLL3 from the US marketplace and so far I'm not overly pleased with it.
Completely rewritten the game play instead of improving the solid base from RLL2, Lots of silly glitches and frustrating passages of play. The AI plays hot potato and it is impossible to defend against.
Graphically it's a huge improvement however the game play just doesn't feel as fluent as previous titles. It's also pointless having forwards as they make no yards whatsoever.

Doesn't sound good. The reviews I'd read stated the forwards were the key to winning and that using your bench properly was the crucial thing to winning on the higher levels. Your brief review doesn't sound great at all. The first game was like you mention, really jerky animation and the AI passing just before contact and being 30 yards clear by the time you've got over the motion sickness and found the ball again.

Won't bother getting it then. I bought the last few RL games more out of a sense of duty rather than actually enjoying playing them. Whilst RL Live 2 seemed better than the others it still frustrates me that there are relatively basic flaws and errors with it.

I got it and i think its a very good and very playable game as is, better than RLL2 anyway which was already decent for a rugby game imo. The fan hub is fantastic where you can download great player likenesses and classic teams from yesteryear. Also be a pro where you create yourself, start as a youngster in the lower grades and work your way through the ranks.I am a 6"4" 19st prop playing for Hunslet.Had a couple of offers from SL clubs and Gold Coat Titans in NRL, not decided yet! Its done really well and is all iv'e been playing on so far.Its certainly not perfect yet,but a lot of the glitches will get patched and if few tweaks here or there are taken care This will end up being a great RL game.

Now I've given it more time it's certainly grown on me.
The gameplay is very different from RLL2 so it takes a lot of getting used too. Interchanges are definitely key, If you don't rotate the forwards properly you will get smashed. However at the same time the forwards don't tend to make many yards.
It's not perfect but it is an improvement and it's definitely the sort of sports game that you have to invest some time into to get used to it. The fan hub is really good and will make life a lot easier when it comes to roster updates etc.

Never played the Uncharted games first time around but just got Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on PS4. Anyone played it and know if the gameplay is still enjoyable or does it feel dated even with the reboot?
