reading between the lines it looks likely westerman might be on his way? shame if true but frees up money, as for welham cant really see that just another rumour for me

I think your right. When you read between the lines of the Motu report on HDM it seems Westerman will be on his way out. Just hope we use the money to try and find a quality centre.
I think if he goes and I believe he will if cash is offered, (however whether anyone will offer cash is another matter) then the days of us getting a back we so desperately need are receding fast and the money will instead I think be used to prop up the Club. If that happens and he does leave for a fee then what we do with the cash will be a good indicator of where we are financially.

Getting really miffed with Pearson now. Constantly pushing the 'skint' line, but yet still sanctioned the Pritchard & Manu deals. Being threatened in to buying season passes etc.
IF Westy goes and they tell us that he wasn't going to sign a new deal so they decided to cash in now then fair enough. But if the money isn't re-invested and is instead used to prop up the club then Pearson can love off. Would rather keep Westerman than have Manu, especially on Manu's recent form at Penrith.

Does AP understand the principle of "cause and effect". The simple answer to his problem is to offer something decent on the pitch and the crowds will take care of themselves. Hopefully the incoming players will have a huge influence on the team's performances and thus encourage the fans to part with their hard-earned.

Maybe we thought we could balance the books with the squad we have and the additional merger funding, but subsequent crowds in the Super 8s and poor season pass sales means that's not possible.
