Clearly the regard Mini is held in by fans, coaching staff and his peers is very high; Radford gave some interesting insight Mini's extreme diligence in preparing his body week in week out, a real role model for the younger generation to learn from.
Not surprised the top award was shared; both have been standouts this year. Watts' increasing maturity and step up in leadership were mentioned.

Some nice words too for the outgoing Paea and Rankin in particular and their embracing of the club/involvement in community. Blake Solly was there too, hopes FC can push on next year and challenge the top 4.

An emotional final award of the night for Steve Prescott, collected by Linzi who spoke movingly of the family's connection to Hull (her boys were born here) and the club, receiving a standing ovation.

Totally deserved for both Mini and Watts head and shoulders above everyone this season.

Any idea why Rankin wasn't there?

Can't argue with any of the awards, although I would have had Abdul before Logan as YPOY.

Also wasn't it confirmed that Mantonga has signed a pro deal with the club?

Hull Daily Mail reporting that he was allowed to go home early to spend some time with his family before he sets off to start Pre season with Wests! And Yes one year with option of two more on the Club!!
