D&GM Except the figures I've stated are taken straight from the club itself which clearly show that the drop is nothing like what the HDM state. Given the increases in pass costs - 2011 the cheapest was £195 I think, this season it was £260, juniors is now £90, in 2011 it was £45 IIRC the total net revenue is not that much difference and not even close to being the £2.5M ccs keeps banging on about. It's royally hacked me off the way Pearson is making out he's a pauper and that he's saying in a veiled way the future of the club is in the fans hands and by not turning up we (the fans) are putting the club in jeopardy, I find that extremely offensive!

As I said, I'm just helping to explain what ccs mean't, where his 10k came from, and the working he probably used.

Lets face it. You find many things offensive, particularly those people who don't agree with your view of things.

We've lost 10k fans over a period of 4 years for every single game.
1k down 4 years ago means a total of 4k didn't go over a period of 4 years to every game. Another 1k down 3 years ago means 3k didn't go over a period of 3 years to every game. etc
Adds up to a total of 10k didn't go over a 4 year period to every single game.
And if bumpy is reading this, I was replying to your comment...
so you need to go back to school and learn how to read.
Hope you don't feel too foolish, but you must be used to it by now.
I think you need to have a sit down and think about what you're trying to say. In 2011, our average attendance was 12400 according to bumpy's figures, which I assume are correct. Are you suggesting we've lost 10k of these attendees every game for the last 4 years?
The real flaw in your "logic" (Ignoring the fact that your 14k to 10k attendances never happened), is that you're counting people multiple times. Of the 4k who supposedly no longer attend, you're counting them all as not being at every game, plus 3k of them again for 2 years, 2k for 3 years and 1k for 4 years. If you can't see that's plainly wrong then you really shouldn;t be questioning the intelligence of anyone else

I think he is trying to say £250 x 10,000 is £2.5m. So I guess 2500 passes per annum @ £250.

I know what he's trying to say but what he actually said is:

His figures are wrong anyway, he has ignored VAT, ignored the fact that not everyone who is no longer attending isn't an adult, ignored the intervening price increases and ignored the fact that we have an income sharing agreement with the SMC. The figure of £2.5m is way off the mark.
According to bumpy's figures, we've lost a total of 40050 supporters through the gate in total in the last 4 seasons, if we use 2011 attendance figures as a baseline. Ignoring the extra game in 2015 and any intervening price rises, let's take an average ticket price of £18 which is likely on the high side. This would be £15 after VAT, giving a gross income loss of approx £600k over the 4 seasons. I'm not sure what the current income sharing scheme is with the SMC but if it's still 50/50 then we've "lost" a maximum of £300k (and likely a fair bit less) in ticket income over the period in question. Some way off the £2.5m reported
Without doubt Pearson has made mistakes most of them through bad advice ,we knew his knowledge of Rl was limited and he did have to rely on those who he thought knew best.Clearly he was given some really poor advice and now he is paying the price, however i do feelbsome of his comments are puzzling ." Rovers have better attendances than us" ??? I dont know how he came up with that because look at the figures given out by both Clubs and it shows a different story. You dont need to be a mastermind winner to know that falling crowds meens less cash and that puts the Club in trouble,we all have opinions what needs doing to change it but thereality is whats happening now and mock him if like but he is right the Club needs backing to invest more to make the Club better. The Radford out brigade need to understand Pearson is sticking by him and that wont change any time now and withdrawing support will do the club more harm then good and if your true fans you wont want this.Come on back the Club or lose it

My thoughts exactly!! well said that man!
If your going through Hell,..........Keep going!!! (Winston Churchill)
Baristas threat of 1000 people not renewing their pass this year will not end the club.
Gates dropping below 7k will hit us financially.
And if Pearson is bleating on about how our gates are at 6k, why on earth haven't they been announced at that, hes admitting false accounting
They announce the attendance based on ticket sales, rather than bodies through the door. So if 3,000 people with passes didn't bother, they'd still be shown as part of the attendance. It's not just Hull FC who do it, it's fairly standard practise across sporting events, festivals, concerts etc.
Nope, nothing false about it.
