Pearson clearly stated in an interview that he won't change his mind about Radford no matter what the fans chant, protest etc so what other choice have I got but to vote with my feet?

You always have a choice. We finished the regular season 7th (vs 10th? last year) have given youth a chance and landed some good recruitment. The club is in financial stress. If this is your moment to walk, so be it.

Need to perform on the pitch plain and simple, need to improve about the same percentage as we did this year and be closer to the top 4. Improving our home form is a must.

Plenty to look forward too next year and I hope the club don't let us down.

This would be my team to start the year if all fit.

Winger and back up hooker undecided on. No Pryce as we need to try and build a long term halfback partnership.

Unfortunately for AP people won't respond to begging to renew anymore.
Ultimately, what drives attendances, sponsorship, merchandise etc, etc is the product on the pitch and people have had enough of what's been on offer.
There's some quality coming in, but is it in all the right areas?. No back up/interchange hooker. No specialist centre. Half backs still an issue.
Make or break in many ways next year. I hope LR comes good but I just can't see it.
Hope I'm wrong.

The club doesn't really do listening. Part of the reason we are where we are.

I agree. The disengagement with the fans has been really noticeable in what should have been a special year for all of us.
That's why I believe the club begging us to renew won't work this year. The goodwill has been eroded.
The feeling of malaise is just so strong. We need more from AP then rallying calls and threats of what the SMC might do to us.

Ultimately we finished 8th, the record books will state 8th. 4 points behind 7th, and a massive 14 points off 4th.

Also you neglect to include that yes this season has been an improvement on last year, but it is still down on the 6th we achieved the two years prior to that. In terms of league finishes we have gone backwards under Radford (actual quality of performances i'd admit is less clear cut than the final year of Gentle's reign)

If you're doing arbitrary seasons for comparison, go back to Agar or better yet Tony Gordon.

See you next season.

Gentle's first season was clearly better than Radford's first, however their respective second seasons weren't too dis-similar. Gentle had the advantage of playing Bradford and London (although both took points off us). A good April/May masked a mediocre season.

Both could do a job as an assistant but neither up to the job as a head coach.

and I agree completely with that. Gentle's team had quite a few blow-outs and lost heavily at times, but won some more games, whereas under Radford we've tended to have close losses.

as for MrsB's comparison question, yes we can compare to the Agar era, we finished 8th in his last season too. 4 years of Pearson's ownership, 4 years of expensive signings, player payoffs, 2 coaches, much hype...and we're still 8th!
