Love him or hate him, he has been proven correct on:
1 he was only person who voted against TV deal with Sky 2. He wanted a 1 up one down league 3. He told truth about Kevin Locke
He may be brash, he may be a muppet but he is correct on many things. Kevin Locke lost his case so I look forward to all those who posted blaming MK to post an apology.
Doubt Locke will say sorry for lies he told, but who knows.

1. Was he? I think Ian Lenagan voted against it and it's only us keyboard warriors who reckon it was a bad deal. 2. I don't agree with the 888's but one up one down has been done and dusted. It failed before and it would fail again. 3. So basically 1 out of 3....
1. What's wrong with the SKY deal and how has he been proven correct? 2. How has he been proven correct that a 1 up 1 down league would be better? Super 8s have been great and will only get better. 3. Well done on telling the truth to your club's fans for a change Marwan, the game needs more people like you etc..
And no he's not correct on many things, he's a an egotistical moron.

You are clueless.
Several clubs opposed the sky deal. Salford being one the the least influential.
In terms of seeking to influence the development of the game do you know which club has by far the worst attendance record at SL and RFL policy meeting, rarely turning up.
You may brown nose MK as much as you like. As someone who loves the family nature of our sport I am sick of this running sore in Salford.

And in one statement, you've summed why RL will always be a minority sports in the UK. 10 more MK in the sport and the sponsership and calibre of players would increase ten fold. While hopefully RFL keeping their egos and sometimes good sometimes bad avenues to grow the sport, in check.
The TV deal was a great deal and a terrible deal. It allowed Mr Wood to mortgage the games future on this new system. It allowed him to buy off the clubs who were opposed and force it through. It gave him a bit of breathing space.
It also limited any real growth in the game for nigh on a decade, it stopped us from seeing any rise in tv money for nearly a decade. It's clear that it isn't enough to make this system work. And we are now behind the 8 ball over the next.6 years where there is going to be major upheaval in the industry
If there was true confidence in this new system, then the TV deal was a crazy thing to sign. If the expectation was that this new structure was to be a raving success then we would be negotiating next year with BT, eurosport, Google, Netflix and everyone else wanting a piece of a popular sport with an innovative and successful new structure and the value goes up hugely.
As it is we have signed a deal where best case scenario we don't see any benefit for 7 years. Worst case scenario when the next deal is up for negotiation we are needing a new structure have fewer SL level clubs and we have to take whatever offer we get.

I'm here for you're Locke comment... I slated MK for his treatment towards Locke on social media from start to finish and that still stands... Just because KL has lost the tribunal does not mean that MK told the truth, and it certainly does not excuse MK's social outburst and witch hunt of the young man, regardless of his recent off field troubles
On the 8th day, God created Rugby League On the 9th day, Satan created Salford. A battle ensued through to to late on the 12th day. A few hours later, a truce, and on the final stroke of midnight, Code 13 was created... Heaven and Hell combined forces and delivered Salford Red Devils...a legacy is born!!!!!
