Yes you are the better side than hull atm, but for some to keep coming on and saying the last meeting was the true giants beating fc well big wow, you beat us by 20 points one more point than on the opening day, but your fans keep saying you was undercooked and it was our fault!
You may and probably will beat us by 30 points Friday night so we will use the excuse that 75% of our starting line up will be sat in the stands watching.
where has anyone stated we have a right to win?

hudds are a team where the sum of the parts are better than the individuals in there, which is the opposite to where we've been for some time now. They have some good players but no real superstars - brough is good and his kicking game is massive for them and If he plays well they play well, but when you go through their side there aren't that many players who you would be desperate for us to sign if they were available. anderson has them at the top of their game much of the time which is where we need to be
I'm sure huddersfield will win this one at a canter but I reckon it would be more even if they lost their:
first choice full back, wingers and centres, their stand off, 2 of their starting back rowers, both of their bench props plus their back up and a couple of cover players
It really is a disastrous injury list so I'll be going along with no expectations but hopefully we'll put a shift in

Hull really do seem to get hit by a lot of injuries, is it all just bad luck or is some of it down to poor strength and conditioning. I know youve had some different personnel in that area, but every year it seems you complain of injuries. Is there a need to look at this based on the types of injury your players are getting?

I'm sure no one at the club has thought of that, drop them a line to suggest it
Joking apart, all clubs get injuries but we're just in a really bad patch. I don't remember it being this bad since 2004

With all due respect Sa & Yeaman have been gash, they aren't and shouldn't be considered 'first choice' as they simply haven't been good enough to be described as such. Also isn't Shaul first choice FB, he's played in the FB roll more than Rankin and aside from his injury which curtailed his mid season appearances & Radford using his position to punish him for his 'outburst' he very much is our first choice FB. We've lost one starting backrower, that's Ellis, we've got both our starting props plus our first choice bench prop in Feka (not that Radford has used him much this season!), you could argue given the performance against Wigan (lauded as one of our best this season) that barring a couple of players that was one of our better teams that we've put out.
If the scoreline is anything similar to our defeat at their place (during our winning run I might add) I'd say that the team we've put out is better than the so-called 'first choice' players.
Making excuses for losses due to injuries/playing your least experienced 1st team squad members is a non starter for me.
Anderson's thinking will be all out, if Leeds lose against Cas they have a chance of 1st or 2nd as they've got leeds in a 4 pointer last match, I don't see him pulling players out to save from injury however I don't expect there to be a big points differential if our lads can perform like they did last weekend and cut down the mistakes.

A cancer, WTF are you talking about, because I can have an objective viewpoint on how we perform you think i can't support and be a fan of the club? Whatever, no-one put you in charge of jack (thank feck) and if you think the potential of us only gaining one win from the S8s is excusable in any way then you're as dumb as the rest of the Radford loving head in the sand types. One great performance last week and you think everything is rosy, my point is absolutely clear, Radford is safe no matter how we perform these next two games, he has an excuse that we only have X first choice players playing so even if Hudds and Catalans batter us (which might not happen) it won't effect his position. You can't even see how that directly relates to what happened to our previous more successful coach whom also had terrible injury crisis and a supposed load of crap/average players.

that sums it up pretty well for me, and the reason players like McGillvary dont get noticed, until now that is.we are a team that tend to go under the radar and usually only get talked about at this stage of the season because we are expected to "choke" again, but i am more than happy with that. we have good players but not exceptional players*, players like Brough,Crabtree, Ferres etc will always be the standout names but we have players like Murphy,Lawrence,Ta'ai,Wardle,Ellis who are all vital parts of our team but rarely get mentioned, mainly because of their consistency.
*as in how the media get in fits of hysterics over them.

if they play with as much enthusiasm and belief as they did last friday i doubt it will be anything near a canter.
