Yes. Wakey were shocking by all accounts yesterday and looking at twitter, chairman, players arguing with fans is never a good situation.
IF (a BIG if) we did get Wakey in the million pound game, and we had all out players fit (An even bigger IF) i can't see us being taken by surprise with a Wakefield blitz. It would be a much closer game and we have more than enough to beat them.
But this is Bradford and i can see Gaskell being out for the season, Mullaney pulling another hamstring, Clough or Sidlow getting injured leaving us with 3 available props and us losing to Leigh and Fax

The problem remains getting the players into the right mindset at kickoff.
It was the case that our key game was Wakey away, and we never turned up. We blew it. They were and are there for the taking, but we instead were garbage and were lucky to get only the thrashing we did.
If we had beaten Wakey then just have a look what the table would look like now. I knew that result would come back to haunt us.
Anyway, as it stands, talk of winning the big game is academic if we aren't consistent or committed enough to do the busines on both Leigh and Halifax. Leigh have been a good team for a couple of years, Halifax not so hot though they are finishing the season strong, but any team with genuine belief that we have the makings of a SL side must beat other Championship sides while we are at their level. If we get beat by either Leigh or Halifax then we genuinely do not deserve promotion. They are not easy games, but they are games we simply can't lose if we think we are good enough to go up.

Agreed. We've won 1/4 of the games against SL clubs and are currently 1/1 against Championship clubs. With 2 championship clubs to come - aiming for 4/7 Middle 8's record. Which I would have taken at the beginning of the season....

It's been amazing really. We do our level best to kill ourselves off and then someone else comes in to keep us in the running. Who'd have thunk it? Fax, of all clubs doing us a favour! Bet it took the sweet taste out of their victory, though genuinely, favour or not, it was a great win, so well played.
As for us, well who knows - we never take the easy way, always trying to self handicap ourselves with strange line-ups, brainfarts and treating the ball as though it were red hot - though maybe it is, as I say, who knows...certainly not me, that's for sure. We seem to be inching towards a fifth place finish and maybe a return to Belle Vue for the trillion pound game - though I suspect that's just the combined weight of our two front rows [assuming Luaki doesn't cop a ban].
anyway, onwards and upwards, next stop Leigh!

Some talk of Lauaki getting 8 games, which is nuts, what did he do? He pushed the guy in the face, that's it, not good and not clever, but he didn't gouge and he certainly didn't make any movement across the face despite what the red signalled. One of their players did almost the same thing yet for some reason nobody has said a word. Weird. It isn't worth more than a 1 match ban.
If he gets more I think it's a favour to us as the cameos he puts in are too short, and he's a penalty machine at the moment.

Agree with that.
It was stupid, to be honest but no "gouge", he pushed his head back, that's all. If Luaki had been the ball carrier it would just have have been called a "hand off" and not even commented on. It will be a hard decision finding someone to do the 15 minutes per match we'll lose if he's banned.
