We don't know what exactly is going on behind the scenes over there, but it seems obvious that there's more than a few ruffled feathers thanks to the mad Doctor. So Salford turned up with clearly the wrong mindset and we actually turned up to play and got some luck on the day.
I think actually, the Salford result has actually done us more harm than good
Firstly, I haven't come here to gloat or mock, as can be seen by my previous posts here on YOUR forum, I had hoped for both our Great Clubs to be promoted to SL this season, though it looks unlikely that even one will achieve that.
Now there may be an 'element' of truth to what I am about to say or it could prove to be complete codswallop, but here goes.
Talking at the Eagles game last week a friend had been in a pub where Ex Salford Coach Harris was drinking, my friend had claimed that Harris had been sacked by Koukash as Harris had punched MK in the car park following a Salford match & also that in the lead up to your Salford match, MK had again refused to pay a number of Salfords squad.
The story went along the lines that the team had basically gone on an unofficial strike & "didn't turn up" in terms of effort, commitment etc on the day. This might explain the anomaly or again be a falsehood.
I don't wish to detract from a great result & performance by your boys at all, on your 'form' days the Bulls look a very exciting & formidable team.
I hope to see you all down at the LSV next week in massive numbers, you did yourselves proud in Round 1 & hopefully we can all enjoy a great, clean & hard fought match between two Great Clubs that are actually wanted in SL by other SL Clubs fans.
Best wishes.
