Jimmy is just a pig headed doylem. Henry should have been playing. Siejka on from the start (He's pants but at least he plays in that position) and Clare at fullback.
Fleming is an option for prop next week but Jimmy will probably play walker there.
Caro looked like he had a hamstring problem so perhaps walker might get a run out wide.

There were a lot of terrible performances there from a lot of the boys, not to mention silly decisions in the professional fouls. All that aside there's no excuse for dropping the ball that much on the attack and just folding in the second half to destroy all points difference for a second week in a row
Terrible effort but realistically i don't think this was ever a game we really targeted to win. Seemed like damage limitation to me and that didn't even happen.
Mendieka will be lucky to wear a Bulls shirt again. Not good enough, and i have no idea why we signed him. Just a poor poor decision by Lowes to play him. Harry on the bench when we had a forward and a centre as starting halves is just as bad.
Onwards to next week. The game we all knew would decide who gets to the million pound game.

We were actually still in game until lauaki's brainfart. damage done while he was off effectively killed us off. As usual once we went a few tries behind heads went down. We have a massive psychological problem once we go behind in games. Nielsens beens big disapointment so far in attack. Dont know if its lack of match fitness but he doesnt seem to back himself when he gets ball. Need gaskell, mullaney back next week and hopefully lauaki gets a ban and forces jimmy to pick fleming. A loss next week and seasons effectively over.

How long a contract was Jimmy given? The way players have been frozen out it might be an expensive off season if they're looking to get rid of them all. They may not afford to let Jimmy go as well.
A good win here and there has kept the pressure off Jimmy but given the full time squad that he has had to work with, ultimately we've not been good enough.
Even if we somehow manage to gain promotion our inconsistency has been an issue all year, something that isn't acceptable in SL. Injuries haven't helped but some of his selections are mind boggling.

Even without this i'm not confident we'd have got anything. Past two games haven't looked like scoring more than a few tries in a game. We do seem to be shipping it out when we have no halves.

You have to look at the team selection. Playing a centre and a back rower in the halves when we had a 7 on the bench is just bizzare, and even when we brought him on it wasn't till the second half. Clare being dropped at the expense of Mendeika is laughable, though I suppose (hope) Mullaney was originally selected there before his illness. How many defensive errors did Mendeika make? Made Dixon's performance from the cup final look good!
Our discipline was awful. Hull KR weren't brilliant - they didn't need to be. We gifted them field position over and over and over again with silly errors and penalties. Lauaki's and Williams' sin-bins were inexcusable. Lauaki should've seen red IMO.
I hope Mullaney is back next week, of course, but even if he is I think Leigh will win comfortably. We've played 120 mins of rugby since half-time against Widnes - scored 4, conceded 90. Looking very grim for us at present.

Right I'll tell you what I've heard and this is by no means happening at this moment in time. This has come from somebody within the game, James Lowes is under increasing pressure, as we could of guessed and a possible replacement for him is Brian Smith

This set of players in general cannot defend and don't seem to have the appetite or ability to do it. Its not something that can be coached into a player, they either have it or don't. With the majority of the squad tied up for next season there is no reason to believe that it will be any different to this. A decent winning run in the Championship and well short of what is required to challenge for promotion. I hope I'm wrong but I just can't see it.
Next week against Leigh will define exactly where we are in for next year.
Be careful what you wish for, one day you may get it!
