I wasn't questioning your decision whether to renew or not - that's entirely up to you. I was questioning the reasoning behind your dismissal of any claim by Pearson that a drop in revenue would adversely impact the club. Seems pretty much self-evident to me so I was interested in why you felt otherwise.

More performances like that might even get miserable critics like myself change their minds too. Would much rather see a young team giving their all, playing with flair and pace (even if making a few errors or mistakes because of it) than the 'grind it out' rugby we saw earlier in the season from the same tired faces. We may still finish only midtable playing with a younger team, but it would be a hell of a lot more exciting to watch.

The performance last night reminded me of how we looked when we first moved to the KC in 2003/2004, a young team just needing that extra few class players to push on, which hopefully Manu, Pritchard and co can bring.
