You live in dream world! If they'd been realistic and said "approx. 1,000" I could have got on board with it, but to say 2,000 just puts the cherry on the cake of a fantastic weekend.
From fans on Friday saying "at least we won't get nilled" to an ex-Hull FC player scoring 5 tries to a record defeat at Wembley and in a final!
Then when you think it couldn't get any better, Bobby Bubbles turns up!
And to today, piddling down rain and less than 1,000 fans to welcome home the biggest losers in the City's history and to hear of your chairman quoting Roosevelt in his speech! Well, this is, without doubt the best Rugby weekend i've had without FC playing.
I want to thank your chairman, your coach and your players for a truly magnificent 48-72 hours. And lastly to you, the fans - without your biting, bitterness and flustered responses on all forms of social media and message boards it wouldn't have been the weekend it was.
Thank you.
