Bang on.

This team has to finish top four at the end of the super 8s or win the CC Cup Final - Anything else is failure imo

Typical of the ludicrous sense of entitlement that pervades our fanbase. Every other team's trying for the same and the top 3 are materially better resourced than us. Of the others Huddersfield and Wire have great benefactors. Crazy level of expectation IMO.

Genuinely think looking at our squad for next year we have a real chance of top 4. There is still a big doubt of Radford ' s ability to get us there, so I think we'll come just short and finish in 5th. I would view that as a good steady season, especially if we push on in the Super 8s and run the top 4 close, or sneak in.

Success would be top 4. Obviously then to go on to the final but just top 4 would be a good achievement.

Failure, as everybody has already said, would be to finish below 8th.

Every year we have people claiming we'll finish top 4 and every year we're miles away. Top 4 will likely be the current top 4 unless one of them implodes. les cats, wire and castleford will be hoping to improve and who knows what will happen with rovers, salford and widnes. Talk of top 4 is folly IMO. We'll do well to finish top 6 IMO

Out of curiosity why is it "Ludicrous", in your eyes and from your comment a top 4 finish impossible then?

Anything less than top 4 is NOT a success, after all if you believe we can't compete with the likes of Huddersfield/Castleford/Saints for that top 4 spot next year then that is rather negative, to look at it another way you have no faith in the coach or squad to win just another what, maybe 4 more games next year.

The minimum expectation from the coach/fans is one of incremental improvement, that by definition is 'acceptable', to consider finising 5 or 6th AND not making the play offs nor even making a semi final a success IS ludicrous, narrow minded and negative.
You want a separate Radford bashing thread yet are making negative comment about Radford and the team as not having a cat in hells chance of making the 4 before this season has finished..hypocrite!

The usual garbage. I was replying to a post that anything less than Top 4 or winning the cup was abject failure. Where did I say we didn't have a cat in hell's chance? Very poor from you. It's the arrogance of expectation when we're under-resourced vs the top 3 and 2 others (Wire and Hudds) that is nonsensical.

I'm just flabbergasted some posters think there's a possibility of getting anywhere near top four and at least a CC semi-final next season when we'll have a turnip at the helm.
