Article on the injunction case tomorrow in HDM. Ehab said they had been losing 5 a side business to competitors. When asked who to, he said you can play 5 a side in many places, like your back garden.

Right.
But only if you are using jumpers for goalposts lol
Thank god we don't share our stadium with a premier league football team (sorry, I meant to say Championship football team)! .....Although we don't have hundreds of thousands of pounds budget to maintain our pitch, we can hold events on our pitch and maintain that Rugby League is our priority (We don't need to shorten our pitch because of one game in a Europa League) .....FC would be better off with a ground of their own where they are the priority!

Whilst I agree our own stadium would be nice I wouldn't swap it for Craven park, you have made it a decent ground, but it's in one of the worst locations in hull, which makes it difficult to get too and nothing around the ground for food drinks before and after the game, which for me is part of going to the game, in fact at times it's the best part.

Interesting figure that. I have been present at 4 events run by hcc at the arena and at least a dozen or more inside the actual stadium. A figure that has been massaged as the bookings will have been made by different departments. I would hazard a guess that none of those events are included, nor will they have been discounted!
SMC sacked all the cleaners at 11:00 this morning they are of course not in a union, hence the sacking I hear they is getting a contract team in.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

I did notice City emailed the other week to say that turnstiles will now only open an hour before kick off (think it was 2 hours previously) so that's another money saving move.
On the playing front a pretty decent start for City though, 2 wins and a draw in what is a very competitive league.
