Most uncouth, arrogant, blinkered, insular, ungracious coach in Rugby League.
Wigan fans deserve him. Most of them possess the same traits.

The truth.

"He's the best coach I've had... His mix of man-management and his game plan is second to none. Since Brian Mac has been in charge, we've been in every final so far. I love playing for him. I can't praise him enough, I've so much respect for him and I hope he's here for a very long time." Kevin Sinfield 29/9/12

Total lack of class and humility.

Starts at the top and go's all the way down to the rabid support who eat this fallacy up in droves.

When the "Call's" go for them its all fine and dandy, when a decision go's against them, whoa! Nelly!

I particularly liked this little rat turd of wisdom from Wane at the end of the article

“The game loses momentum (with video referees),” he said.

“If they went at it quicker and got it wrong - with the intention of getting the game going again - then I could half-understand that.”

“We like tempo games, the faster it is, the more it suits us better and teams don’t like playing against us.”

You'd never know from watching them play. Anything to slow the game down seems to be their current style. But I suppose their supposed love of "tempo games" and the energy expended could explain why 3 or 4 of them need to take a long lay down at every tackle, just a shame it's on the opposition ball carrier.

Thing is with this, there will be number of Wigan fans who are nodding in agreement with Wane because they will be certain that every ref is biased against them.

Just as a large percentage of our own fans think they are all against Leeds.

Fans are pretty much the same at every club.

I don't think a coach should be encouraging such opinions though.

Leeds Rhinos? 8 for you, Leeds Rhinos! You go, Leeds Rhinos.

And none for Castleford Tigers. Bye!

It doesn't say anywhere in that piece that the RFL admitted the calls were wrong.

All Wane says is that the RFL agreed with him. But on what we don't know because he's on about more than just the calls themselves in his little whinge.

I sincerely hope the RFL didn't say the calls were wrong because all the video ref calls were correct.

Maybe GH should ask for an inquiry into who said what as far as the RFL is concerned.
That person could be deemed to be bringing the game into disrepute.
At least that way we will find out if Wane is lying or the idiot at the RFL needs sacking.

He seems to fail to mention about the push on Briscoe, which in the letters of the laws should have been no try. Rub of the green to Wigan? Surely not.

Since 2010 there have been quite a number of decisions gone against Leeds when playing against Wigan Wembley and Cardif spring to mind and one or two other occasions and he made no observations about them.He is not in the same class as Tony Smith or Brian Mac.
