Looking at those arriving from NRL there is no way we are anywhere near balancing the salary cap on current departures. Lower paid players going won't do it, would need to be a higher earner.
Given numer of back rows we now have, Radford's (correct) attempts to professionalise the club and that we could get a fee this year, Westerman going makes sense.
Really happy with recruitment although still not convinced radders is the man to take us to next level. Would feel a lot happier if he had a experienced coach as his assistant. Even james webster would be a positive move.still really concerned about hooker.if Houghton remains injury free washy prob could do a job but if your aiming for top 4/5 doing a job is not good enough.would of liked to see ian henderson from cats here.there must be a championship hooker worth a punt.at a loss with the whole cunningham senirio. Pita godinet from wakefield would be a fantastic signing.looked class in 4 nations for samoa and can cover half back.worried all fans have said about need for hooker yet coach just doesn't see it

first bold point, radders isn't the right man to take us for or "to next level" second bold point, id not be happy at all if we replaced radders with Webster
would much rather have an established coach, who knows what he is doing and how to play the game

Well we obviously don't know what players are actually being paid plus there is the marquee player ruling which will take at least one player off the cap so it's possible that we are actually balancing the cap. That said we do seem overloaded in the back row now so I can't help but feel there will be departures there.

He was saying bring in Webster as his assistant, not his replacement.

Marquee player will still cost £175k on the salary cap.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
