Ive gotten, (more into than im willing to admit) Lego jurassic world, gameplay is dead easy and it follows the story very well and has some lego fun about it all.

Steam Summer Sale seems to be getting worse and worse. Some of the garbage they are peddling now beggars belief.
Bought:
Sniper Elite 3. Looks nice. But it's largely a one trick pony. Take On Mars: Pre-Alpha Mars exploration thingumbob. Nice to look at. But it barely qualifies as a quarter of a game. Standed Deep: Another Alpha. This time you're on a desert island scratching around for sticks, coconuts and cordage. Combine the three and - voila! Instant nuclear generator! X-COM (Full Pack). Not bad for a tenner. Some of the aliens are a b**** to fight.

I may be a bit late to the party on this one as I know it's been out for a while but recently just bought and played The Last of Us.
Absolutely brilliant. Probably the best game I've ever played. Always nice to see a bit of thought and effort put into a game rather than just racking up the bodycount.
The Last Of Us had zero originality in terms of game play or story, (an immune survivor who must be protected has probably been done a lot), but it was the presentation and voice acting that really sold it. That giraffe scene though... Them feels

I don't particularly care about originality, I'd be amazed if there's a truly original story out there in any media, it's the effort that's put into the development of the story and the relationships within it that marks it out above others. In this sense games are no different from books, TV series or films.
In this context for me it's the equivalent of The Wire or Star Wars 4-6, compared to some of the stuff that's too often served up that's more like Star Wars 1-3. ie this has got some substance to it.
