Whilst I'm certain it's 90% bluster and you'll all be cheering Leeds on in the final as if your lives depended on it, I couldn't even pretend for the internet that I wished you luck if it was the other way round. In 05, 08 and 13 I have no qualms about admitting that I was gutted you'd got to the final and became as big a Leeds/Saints/Wigan fan as you'll find come cup final day!
Exactly right, when you reached the final I was rooting for wigan, and what you say is spot on,nothing wrong in it at all. Do fans really think that man city fans cheer for man u,it just dont happen.

Exactly. Been trying to explain that to some southern colleagues today. Apparently I should be pleased as its a Hull team at Wembley. NO I'm not. Arsenal fans don't celebrate Spurs winning. Chelsea fans don't celebrate Arsenal winning. Leyton fans don't celebrate WHU winning and so on.
Apparently as "its only rugby" I should be pleased. Why is it only football that you can have an intense rivalry?
Balls to any feelings of being pleased for the Rovers fans. Balls to any feelings about Rovers deserving it. I didn't want anything other than a Wigan victory in an early round or a Catalans victory or a Wire victory. Whilst I have no love for Leeds at all I certainly will on 29th when they play Rovers.

Whilst I'm happy for my KR friends and family, and I'm big enough to admit the better team certainly won on Saturday, I will be supporting the same team as my darling husband on the 29th August...he better not get used to it

the worst pairing for me...the whinos and the dobins, hate them both!!!! in all seriousness though, congrats to the dirty dobins. enjoy your trip to wemberley (lol) enjoy it as much as you can, as after you get spanked by the whinos, the sights wont be as pretty in the weeks that follow.

In the major finals that Hull have played in, I have never wanted you to win any but I have always been pleased for my black and white pals and their families that they got to experience it. Jealous too, but pleased for them nonetheless.
3 generations of my family heading down to London for Challenge Cup weekend. Most have never seen us play there. We know we wont win but it wont dampen our excitement or ruin our experience. You would even begrudge us that..
Small minded and bitter Wilf. Sorry.

I dislike rovers as much as anyone but that's the club and their owners, not the every day fans who, despite what they all believe about the oppositions' supporters, are all pretty much the same, coming from the same streets in the same city. I know plenty of rovers fans who were secretly pleased when we won in cardiff
As long as it's only once every 29 years then why begrudge them it?

So you feel the need to come on here and accuse people of being Small minded and bitter when what you have said sums it all up. Why do you feel that we as Hull supporters are now over the moon for you. Why would you want us to be. I can tell you about generations going who have not seen us win at Wembley but one was in his Mummies tummy when we won in 2005 and then had his heart broken in 2008 and 2013. Maybe your babies will be a bit luckier. Now go away enjoy the next month cos it can be great. Wave off the team and enjoy and just hope it does not rain. I myself could not care about you or Leeds.
