As expected given the fall in attendances.

Hopefully condensing the East stand crowd will help with the atmosphere but there is a potential problem with away fans so close to the home support, especially if stewarding is reduced.

only way it'd make it better is if we were facing the away fans, not next to them. It's understandable, but that doesn't make it any less poop.

Starting to sound like the London fans who are moaning about having to move to a small amateur looking ground.

If you only have a few fans then that is where you should play.

If Hull FC only get 10k or below most weeks then why have an empty stand?

Reminds me of when the bedroom tax came out and hundreds of old people living in Council houses got all up tight about having to pay extra to stay in a 4 bed house when they lived on their own.

If you don't need the whole of a rented facility the landlord has every right to make it more cost effective.

I'm sure people will be glad when money is saved on match day costs and that can be re-invested into area's of the club more beneficial.

Hull FC won't be saving any money on match days. It will still pay the SMC the same. Its the SMC which will be saving money.

If you rent a 4 bedroom house and only use 3 bedrooms then provided you pay your rent the landlord can't put someone else in the spare room. I always thought the User Agreement said the SMC had to open the entire stadium except the Upper West.

I would have done this years ago, only a couple of teams ever bring a good following, usually Leeds and Rovers (Cas have this season), but even they could be fit into the East or west corner.

I've sat in the north of the east stand for many years in the same area and looks like i won't be getting a pass for next year. IMO this won't change the atmosphere at all! we need our own smaller stadium but doubt that will be happening anytime soon

Why can't you sit elsewhere?

Can't argue with the logic, from a financial perspective for the SMC.

I just hope on the back of it, AP has negotiated so that FC benefit financially too?

Does that mean you'll stop going or you just won't get a pass?
