Obviously he isn't as effective as Farrell, nobody is saying he is, but his style of play us basically a solid backrower and will do a job there as backup, we should have looked to play him there 2 years ago.

If Talanoa is to play, imo he needs to be back on the wing. He's basically just a better player than Yeamo offensively buy can't pass either.

Talanoa is too slow for the wing and terrible under high ball, better at centre IMO. I think if we sign Fonua and Vidot he place could be in danger.

Despite being told Inu was done, it doesn't look likely now.

We'll have to agree to disagree on his best position (I think every centre should have at least a decent pair of hands) but I do agree that his position could be under threat if we sign Vidot and Fonua. That's why I don't think we'll sign Vidot.

we need to give our signings a bit of support, get behind them and see what they actually do in a few games (say 10) before laying into them - who thought rankin a good signing before he had actually played a few matches? there's other examples too - Moa, Motu himself

Our backline currently has few tries,little speed,not much nous and defensively ropey. Thats massively disappointing!

Having watched fonua's highlight reel on youtube, it's uncanny how similar our style of play is to melbourne's. It will be an almost seamless transition
