They expect every signing to be State of Origin standard, 20 years old with 10 years experience, pacy, made of steel and speak with a Hull accent.
Tuimavave will be stand-off/centre as required and cover for Pryce. Rankin was signed as a stand-off remember. He's now our no.1 fullback and performing like it. He steps like Preckie and more often than not evades the first man. Moa was a "project", "overweight" and "small". Now he would walk into any team on the planet. Colin Best was the same. Talanoa was slagged off too. All this proves is that they know knackall.
As usual, the little provincials eye everyone not with a HU postcode with distrust and ready to heap pressure on them before pulling on that shirt. Go support Wyke.
The only issue I have with the signing is if he's been brought in as a first choice centre. We need a proven, specialist centre IMO as we have no one at the club who is good enough and ready to play there every week. If he's been signed as a direct replacement for rankin as a utility cover then seems OK.
If our other overseas signing is a winger then it leaves us
logan yeaman? michaels? talanoa tuimavave
None of whom are the quality centre we desperately need- logan and tuimavave may become but aren't there yet

Standard.
Apologies, you've clearly seen Tuimavave play for Hull FC more than I have. That gives you an idea of the mentality of people.
After the rubbish served up by the knights yesterday , We might get a look at him if Rick Stone makes changes for next week. Assuming He's still in charge next week .

I'd just rather one of our own was given a chance than an NRL cast off. 3 Years for a player that Hull want to play in the same position as Logan and who himself wants to play in the same position as HTW. Maybe now there's more pressure on him, Radford trusts our young kids less. Only 1 debutant in SL this year.

A NRL cast off Minichello keeping out the great superstar that is Hadley,Acording to you anyway,I've not seen anything in Hadley to suggest he is anything special and I even rate Whiting more as a 2nd rower than Hadley.

Some fans was willing to have Ben crooks back, he couldn't get a sniff anywhere near first grade in NRL, but we are ready to knock this kid before he even plays, just because he's keeping an up & coming star out of the first 17, I believe the start of preseason 2016 it will be a clean slate for whole of the first team & reckon the team will be picked on merit all week long & on game days.
