Hi all, new to this forum and after much deliberation I decided on Marcus's Bicycle as my user name. For those of you not old enough to remember he was a character who used to ride his bike, I think it was a chopper, around the old speedway track at the Boulevard in the late 70's early 80's spitting at and taunting the fans. We thought he had an uncanny resemblance to Lee Crooks.

Wonder if Marcus is still around.

I seem to remember someone posting on here a few years back that he'd died. Used to bum fags off people and call everyone "Tit"

Certainly brings back memories does Marcus,walking around the the Boulevard waving to the supporters.

It was a chopper , He was never off it . Also remember him having a permanent snotty nose and when he spoke , he'd always shout .

Had obvious issues, got spat at by him when I was about 9 or 10 going to the old Western library down Boulevard in the late 70s. I'd see him from time to time, he was quite a big lad I recall, maybe about 15 then but aside from his disgusting habit pretty harmless AFAIR
