If you believe Talanoa was Hull FC's player of the year last year you're as stupid as the person who gave him the award. To slow for wing, can't pass to play centre but he tries hard and plays up for the fans. He's Hull FC's Ben Cockayne.
I didn't call CT awful, I said he was an awful signing. Blocks players like Logan, Dean and HTW on a lot higher wages for a slightly better return.
Talanoa was very good last season, he's a better athlete & makes good metres.if you was in touch with FC you would know Logan is not ready to play every week nor are Dean or HTW. The last 2 are not even full time.

I watch the 19s, Logan is ready, as is Lancaster. Harry will be ready for 2017 if he's used properly next year, we need somewhere for him to play better than the 19s and Doncaster.

I'm not convinced that either Logan or Lancaster will ever be really top class. Both very talented but too small IMO.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

You mean Shannon Walker, the ex fastest man in the NRL who at the start of this season turned down 3 RL offers, and was blocked by the RU to play for the Gold Coast in he Auckland 9's? I'm sure loads of our backs are good enough to play for Australia's 7's team! lol
And unlike yourself, I wasn't "wanking" over a player I had very little knowledge of. I didn't make up ridiculous lies about attending 3rd grade Sydney RU matches to try and back up my tenuous claims. Claims that were so stupid you mysteriously disappeared throughout Talanoa's entire spell of good form!
Roopy think's Carlos is too good for us to hold on to for 3 seasons, and I doubt there's anyone on the site that would take your view over the guy that watches him every week!
And regarding blocking younger players, if you think we have a centre anywhere near ready enough - you're either wilfully delusional, or a halfwit!

Lancaster will be (he's an inch smaller than Tom Briscoe). Logan needs a good off season and won't be the finished article, but he needs to progress for his own development and that should be in the first team for me.

Sorry for butting in, but he's signed a 3 year deal, it doesn't have to be about him blocking young players in 2016.

At 23 though - he IS still a young player. I agree with your argument when we sign veterans that will only get worse, but this kid has his best days in front of him.

Logan is not ready to play SL every week neither is Lancaster. If you think lineham shoots in Lancaster is worse, plus his core skills are not all that.

If he's here to replace Yeaman then that's fine by me.

Both should be playing SL next year, Callum's core skills are fine for a winger at 18, he used to play FB. You must be the only person I know, including plenty of people down at the 19s that doesn't think he's ready. Logan needs to learn on the job. He's too good for 19's and until there's ever an 'A' team/U23's grade he'll just stagnate if not allowed to progress.
