l think our squad is unbalanced. Our most probable biggest earners are all 30 year olds nearing the end of their careers. For me as great as Ellis and Pryce have been they no longer represent value for money and playing wise I'd cut them loose now if that was an option and try and bring in some fresh young blood. Sneyd has also been a big disappointment for me and has probably had more bad games then good.
All Radford is doing is trying to recruit a team of powerful work horses a carbon copy of the successful team he played in all those years ago.
Coaching wise he knows no better not having had a proper coaching education and to appoint an amateur coach at best to recruit and coach a SL side is unforgivable and lacks ambition.
Scraping the 8 is no solace or sure sign of improvement.
We've been beaten by every team below us barring Widnes this season and we are by far the worst team in the super 8 but probably the best of a bad bunch from the middle.
Same old failings with a coach clueless how to put right the continuing wrongs.
Wigan didn't need to work hard for their win. We were embarrassing.
Radford does need to go but I accept he won't.
Regardless of signings can see a lower average gate again next season.
