Huddersfield winning today was a blow to our slim top 4 hopes. I think its feasible that we could catch Cas and if Warrington get distracted by the cup we can probably finish ahead of them too. But Huddersfield will finish on 28 which means we have to beat Wigan or its all over.
If Huddersfield lose to the top 3, us, and one other they would finish on 32, and given the PD that means we need 6 wins from 8.

Think all of Grudgells talk of being a "painful death" in the super 8s sums up his clubs small time mentality. Can only be a good thing. The biggest positive to me is that it will give our young players involved a lesson in intensity that can only serve them well in their future development. They'll learn more from any defeats in the super 8s then any victory in the middle 8s No pressure now. One less game next year. Win - win
