All I'm saying is I'd like to see the same standard of professionalism applied to the club as is in top level industry.
Do the club conduct exit interviews, to see what the real underlying reason is for players leaving. Sure it's easy to say Briscoe wanted to be closer to home etc etc. The thing is if you can identify a common thread (for instance a belief the club will invest enough to be successful) that is causing players to leave you can address it.
If we just adopt the stance that "nothing could be done because they were intent on leaving" without even trying to identify the underlying cause we'll be forever losing our best players.
When a player leaves it would be good for the chairman/ owners to sit down & find out why his player wants away, & the players moving on so it should be the right time for all cards on the table, it will help the owner not let this happen again in the future. They never tell the press or us fans the real reasons. Hence why we have a hate mob.
