So you're saying an employment tribunal would see criticism of a player in a post-match interview as bullying? Just that, nothing else.
I ask that specifically as that's all Bumpy is going off. His interviews are all anyone can go off, as none of us are privy to what goes on behind the scenes. I don't see that alone as evidence that backs up the claim he's a bully.

Personally no. A pro sportsman at that level should take responsibility for performances, however I'm sure that if ever anyone felt so inclined they would have some kind of case

Read my post you jumped on again, I said could, not would. Bullying comes in many forms in the workplace and it's often down to how the incident(s) make the recipient feel even if the perpetrator wasn't being vindictive. Employment law is a minefield heavily weighted (it seems to me) in favour of the employee.
I never said that radford's comments have ever amounted to bullying, merely that public criticism of a player could be classed as bullying - a general comment, not one aimed at anything radford has ever said. I doubt a pro sportsman would ever take such action anyway as their career would be over

When one poster on a public internet forum has a difference of opinion to others and everyone jumps in to "have a go" because they feel safe in the "crowd". Wouldn't happen on here of course

nope, I wasn't bullied, I was a big lad for my age up until last year at high school, played in the rugby team until I fell out with the sports master (a certain ex HKR winger whom was a nice person of epic proportions) and have always being able to stick up for myself. What I have done throughout my life is stick up for those that didn't deserve the kind of shat that often gets directed at them in varying ways on the back of doing nothing wrong. What the senior players do or don't do doesn't stop Radford from being a bully and directly have an effect. There's no guarantee that a senior player would say anything, why would they feel the need to intervene, have you asked them specifically if they have anyway? do you know if they've even recognised it themselves?
I based my opinion not just on that radio interview but on a fair few things he's said and the way certain scenarios have panned out with players. If you don't want to see it that's fine it's not a problem, however Radford IS a problem with regard to how the team performs as well as individuals and how they are treated/respected...think about it and try to look at certain instances where it's so obvious what's going on!

correct, I respected the fact he was a professional RL player that had played at a very high level(England rep honours IIRC) so was obviously a decent larker, I thought it fantastic that we had an actual RL player as one of our PE masters.
But he was a bully, his attitude as a teacher stunk and he was up his own arris. He certainly reacted badly to having it 'up him' if you know what I mean.
