As much as I love the Hull v Rovers rivalry, I would much prefer that both clubs made the Super 8's. Possibly won't now, but a home tie v Rovers would generate c£150k more than a home game v Les Cats and that's some serious money. Also better for the City to have both sides doing well.
Obviously I'd always want for us to win and finish higher, but having a healthy, competitive rivalry provides a financial spin off for us to invest in further strengthening the Club/Team/Coach.

You are a rare breed amongst Hull FC fans. You can see the bigger picture and I applaud you for that.

They won't go down but it would be nice to see them sweat, seen as its their best team since they joined SL.

I don't like it, everything seems to be our favour, its not the Hull way to win this and qualify for the 8's, they will take it to the last game (were Rovers have the slight advantage of playing after us).
Not sure how everything is in our favour. rovers have one of (if not the) best home records in SL this season. Really undecided on this one. Before sunday I had it down as a comfortable rovers win, now not so sure. If we turn up and play as we can we will win IMO as they can;t live with our pack, however we've done that so infrequently this season it seems unlikely so I expect a defeat by a score or two but us still to make the 8 and rovers not
