It does sound about right. Thats about 17n half stone in old money. But vidot at 118 is truly massive!!

I'd be reluctant to pay 200 skittles for him tbh. I know he's young and still learning the game, but he's hugely overrated.

The rumour of him coming to us is a complete non starter I reckon. But if it did happen at the expense of giving HTW or Dean a chance I would be very disappointed.

There didn't want Sneyd to leave that's why we had to pay a big fee.

I agree he is overrated, he is a good runner, but doesn't have the skill set to make a top half like Sneyd has the potential to.

If Wikipedia is right, TF turns 21 in August and MS turns 25 in February. In terms of potential, TF is well ahead imo. The thing about potential of course is realising it - it might take a long time and it might not happen at all.

Again Fages doesn't have the full skill set, his kicking, organising and passing skills are not good enough to make a top half, if he doesn't have them a 21, I'd doubt they will develop too much now.
Sneyd was held back at Salford by not giving him the opportunity or playing out of position.

But surely that goes double for a player in his mid-twenties.

If you're saying Sneyd is almost the complete package now, then fair enough. But talking about him in terms of potential or his having being held back at Salford maybe implies you think he isn't?

From what I've seen he's an exciting player, but one who doesn't always/often put his stamp on a game. That said, I do think he was and is a good fit for Hull. You needed somebody who is closer to fully developed, without going to the other extreme of signing another oldie.

Sneyd just needs some consistency in his game. He can kick, pass and run. Fages is a runner, more of a Pryce/Horne type player.

Maybe would work well with Sneyd, but would rather stick with HTW, who I expect will play a few SL games next season.
