Very good game today, lost 22-20 and we hit the post from a penalty in the last minute to tie it up.
Costly on the injury front though, with Reece Dean off with an ankle injury and in a protective boot. Also Callum Lancaster undergoing surgery tonight on a broken wrist after a late hit whilst scoring his 2nd try.
Stand outs were HTW, Jez Litten & Turgut. But it was a very high standard across the full team.

Still can't get out the foul stinkin' mood I've been in for the past two weeks!
NO TO HULL MERGER
If you mix 11 parts Moet to two parts Lambrini, what you have is a sparkling cocktail of awesomeness, which is exactly what the academy merger will be.
Was thinking that myself this afternoon what a great set of lads we have, outplayed in the first half they stormed back and against a team that is again held up as examples to the rest of us and who have only lost once this season we got some big injuries but almost did them. HTW really rose to the occasion when he lost his partner, while there were al lot of disgruntled fans around wondering by the end what the hell this merger is all about?? Besides that it is saving money!!
No one should ever think that everyone at the Club thinks its a good idea either because they don't!! Look what you're getting for Christmas Rovers!

Funny I was always told mix out with Moet and you get the taste of bad cider and the odd time I have tried its true.

I would guess that the only people at the club who don't think it is a good idea are the ones who know their limited ability is likely to mean they will lose their job, which in the scheme of things is what the merger is about, getting rid of the dead wood and hangers on and making sure only the Elite players and coaches in this City are invested in.
I would also be interested to know what you mean when you suggest Rovers are getting a Christmas present Wilf? I presume you mean that these players are leaving Hull and signing for Hull KR? That is the only way Hull KR could benefit from the current crop of U19's and 16's at Hull FC.

If you think Wane is using thug tactics throughout the club I suggest you ring Wigan and ask if you could visit Central Park and see the set up.
The most polite people I have ever met from Receptionist to Players. And the reason for this? Wane insists that every person at the club is polite and makes an effort to say hello and offer to help any person the come into contact with. It is not unusual to see a player helping a cleaner do her job. He is massive on creating exceptional human beings, not just Rugby Players.
They also ensure that the dressing room is exactly how they found it, home or away, and that job belongs to the 18th man however they rarely do it alone and often the whole squad chip in and make sure it is spotless when they leave.
Ring them, they will happily let you look around CP and see for yourself.

So has formal consultation begun and if so when did the clock start?
