Anti merger meeting at Tigers lair Anlaby rd. Wed 8th July 7pm. No effigy burning, no angry mobs or pitch fork rebellion. Loyal supporters trying to preserve our history, identity and the rivalry that's separates Hull from everyone else. Lets not just sit here and watch the nails go slowly into our great clubs coffin.

It won't happen properly for four years, & looking into the finer detail it will benefit the club in the long run. People need to see & understand the reasons, plus the money will be better spent on the talented youngsters that will come through the new system, on average 1 from 12 make it this will make it be halved with the merger. Makes sense from the clubs point (both clubs)

Talk about an over-reaction, it's the academies, it's happening, just deal with it. Am sure all 6 that turn up will have a good moan about nothing of any real importance.

You obviously understand the reasons and the benefits. Care to enlighten me? Because the only benefit I can see is cost saving.

Adam Pearson's concern is that the Academy players are not progressing at a fast rate into the 1st team...
IF he adopted the same policy as other leading clubs, by investing in a Sports Science Department, instead of signing experienced players on large contracts, Hull FC wouldnt need to merge their academy..
