Exactly
say it runs 3 or 4 years. we then split, we will have half a squad, and we wont be able to magic up another half, due to a "lack of talent pool"
I've always thought we, thats Hull RLFC, should have a squad at ever year from u12's signed, yes, its 8 squads, but give it a few years, with the right people and the right structures and the internationals will come rolling out.
This new merger will be trying to get a 15 year old and making him a star by the times he's 19. Bollox, the best of the best got signed by Wigan and Saints at the age of 12

How does that work then? Pearson won't spend on a decent coach,& we're up to the salary cap already.

Both teams already spend to the cap.
And in any case that would be an incredibly short-sighted approach which Pearson himself ruled out when he bought the club.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
I've just done it but it wants you to pay some money
Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand Workin' in the dark against your fellow man But as sure as God made black and white What's down in the dark will be brought to the light
They have once again underestimated the fans reaction and no doubt they will press ahead and just ignore the fans. They seem to like flying in the face of fans opinions, they will be the end of the club and then we will get the blame.
The customer in the rest of the real world gets what he wants or walks away, I now have very little problems in walking away with my £1k plus a year spend with FC.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;
